5. D2 Airride Gold VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT B3/B4 (89~97)

An advanced air system with automatic level control and app-controlled!

D2 has recently upgraded the kit properly, new compressor Viair 485C which is strong, reliable and efficient. Many shocks now have a drop-low lower hub that gives even more opportunity to lower your car. Prokitet and Gold now have the control system and valve package built together, less loose parts, it takes up less space and makes installation easier and gives it a nicer look!

A very advanced air kit where you get D2's super fine dampers and with recognized high quality. A real control system with four programmable heights that the computer remembers and you store with simple button presses. You can control all four dampers completely individually. The system is read via potentiometers that you mount between the support arm and the body (similar to a xenon level sensor). This requires a very careful installation, good mechanical skills are a must. When these are installed, you have automatic level regulation. The mode you have programmed in will keep the car regardless and you load the car full of buddies or beer ;-)

So you can have a parking mode, a driving mode, a really low mode and one that gives you high ground clearance, all with a simple push of a button on the remote control. The remote control has a nice graphic design and is easy to navigate and has a "One touch" function. With a single push, you can adjust to your ride height. (In previous version, you need to press the buttons for a long time and cause bad connection.)

The speed to lower and raise the vehicle's ride height is normally 2-5 seconds.

Other nice new features are the more advanced remote control which now also shows a warning signal for insufficient tank pressure. Changing the battery is now completely unnecessary as it is easily charged via USB. The entire system has an Energy Saver mode (sleep mode).

With the Goldkit, you do not need a control panel inside the car, which also facilitates the installation and provides a more hidden / clean installation.

If you have an iPhone, you can download D2's app to control it via an app, it includes a bluetooth device that you easily install in the car that talks to your phone.

A real upside with D2's air kit is that they have the fine balance between comfort and sport. You can use the car on a daily basis and it is included in the notes when you drive inspired. We at Street Performance can special order the dampers shimmed to the D2's sport dampers if you use your kit for more inspired driving (for those of you who like real UHP tires or r-tires, harder bushings or just drive as if the police are chasing you too often ;-)

See under the spec which top bearing is included, usually it is a ball-bearing top bearing (R) that is included. This can in many cases be upgraded to an adjustable top storage, contact us if necessary for price.

Together with D2, we have made a certificate that they stamp to facilitate inspection with our D2 kits. You who have bought your kit from us have the opportunity to get this.

(we have noticed that there are no clear guidelines on what they require, so we do not guarantee that they will pass the inspection but so far only one has been refused out of all the certificates D2 has issued through us)
